Course catalog
The catalog below is intentionally specific. For each program, we list goals, practical assignments, typical duration, and delivery format. Live webinar dates are listed on the Webinars page, while courses run on published cohort schedules.
AI Foundations (2–3 weeks)
A structured introduction to AI concepts, responsible use, and repeatable evaluation habits. The program emphasizes prompt hygiene, basic data handling, and documenting limitations so outputs are easier to review.
Learning goals
- Write prompts with constraints and verification steps
- Compare outputs using a simple rubric
- Apply privacy-safe handling of inputs and notes
Practice tasks
- Prompt test log with version notes
- Risk checklist for claims and sources
- Mini-project reviewed against a rubric
English Conversation Lab
Speaking drills and short writing tasks with feedback tied to recurring errors. Targets are practical: meetings, updates, and concise emails.
Format: Online course • Typical schedule: 2–3 weeks
Arabic Basics
A paced introduction to sound/letter patterns, core grammar, and high-frequency phrases. Practice focuses on short dialogues and controlled writing.
Format: Online course • Typical schedule: 2–3 weeks
Python Sprint Intensive (10–14 days)
A time-boxed program focused on fundamentals that show up in daily scripting: reading data, simple automation, and debugging methodically. Expect shorter lectures and more guided practice.
Learning goals
- Write small scripts with clear inputs/outputs
- Use tracebacks and tests to debug systematically
- Structure code for readability and reuse
Practice tasks
- Parse a CSV and generate a clean summary
- Automate a small repetitive workflow
- Debug lab with intentional failure cases
JavaScript Essentials
A fundamentals-first track: variables, functions, data structures, async basics, and reading code. Practice includes short debugging and small DOM tasks.
Format: Online course • Typical schedule: 2–3 weeks
Mandarin Chinese Basics
Foundational pronunciation and high-frequency sentence patterns. Practice emphasizes short speaking prompts and controlled listening drills.
Format: Online course • Typical schedule: 2–3 weeks
How courses are structured
Our course design is built around two unglamorous constraints: people have limited time, and skills fade without practice. That is why each program is organized into short modules with explicit objectives and a tight feedback loop. In practical terms, the work is sequenced so you can reuse a method in a new context rather than memorizing isolated tips.
The process starts with prerequisites and a target outcome statement. We then break the outcome into a few competencies—like writing a clear prompt with constraints, implementing basic control flow in Python, or producing an email that stays within a word limit. Each session includes an applied task (not a “watch and forget” exercise) and a review step that clarifies what counts as correct, acceptable, and risky. That rubric-based review reduces guesswork and makes progress easier to notice.
For live cohorts, we keep logistics predictable: session length is typically 60–75 minutes, and a standard course runs 2–3 weeks. Intensives are shorter and denser, while masterclasses are single-topic sessions that prioritize walkthroughs and Q&A. Webinar dates are posted separately on the Webinars page.
What is included (varies by program)
Each listing states exactly what is included for that cohort. The items below represent common components you will see across the catalog.
- Syllabus outline: objectives, prerequisites, session count, and expected weekly effort.
- Practice tasks: short assignments designed for repetition and review.
- Feedback: instructor notes or rubric-based checkpoints, depending on the format.
- Predictable logistics: session times and access windows shared before purchase.
A note on outcomes
Completion summaries describe what was covered and what was submitted. We do not promise financial, career, or professional outcomes. Results depend on practice time, context, and prior experience.
